What is MEXC P2P Trading?

MEXC P2P is a peer-to-peer marketplace where you can directly trade cryptocurrencies with others using your preferred local currency, price, and payment method. You can trade on MEXC P2P as either an Advertiser (Maker) or a Taker. Please note that MEXC acts solely as an intermediary marketplace and does not participate in P2P transactions as an Advertiser or Taker.

Is MEXC P2P secure?

Yes. When an order is created, MEXC locks the crypto amount being traded within the P2P order until both parties successfully complete the transaction. If your counterparty suggests completing transactions outside the MEXC P2P platform, ignore the suggestion and file an appeal.

Do I need to complete KYC before using MEXC P2P?

Yes, Primary KYC Verification is mandatory. For guidance, please refer to the tutorial.
Note: You can only trade with users from the region where you reside or as specified by your KYC-verified location. If P2P trading is not supported in your KYC-verified region, you can buy crypto via Third-party Channel.

How to buy and sell crypto on MEXC P2P?

Once verified, you can start buying crypto with zero fees on the MEXC P2P marketplace.

Are there transaction fees on MEXC P2P?

Currently, there are zero fees associated with P2P trading on MEXC P2P. However, additional fees may be charged by your payment service provider.

How can I add a payment method for P2P Trading?

Navigate to the User Center, then click Add Payment Method and select your preferred payment option. You can also edit or disable payment methods as needed.
Currently, MEXC P2P supports over 80 payment methods across six fiat currencies: VND, RUB, KRW, UAH, MYR and INR. You can buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH using your fiat currency.

Can I use someone else’s bank or payment account for P2P Trading?

No. Payments must be made using accounts in your name that match the name on your MEXC account. Using accounts that do not match may result in the suspension of your P2P trades.

What should I do if the website or app closes unexpectedly during a P2P order?

You can view ongoing P2P orders here. To complete the order, click on the Order ID, and you should be able to continue the transaction.

What should I do if I encounter an issue with my P2P order?

If problems arise (e.g., the seller does not release cryptocurrency after payment), you can contact the customer service team or file an appeal in the following ways:

What is the difference between the Express zone and the P2P page?

The Express zone automatically matches you with a counterparty, while the P2P page allows you to choose your preferred advertiser for trading.

How do I change my nickname?

Navigate to the User Center and click on the Edit button next to your current nickname. Note that nicknames can only be changed once every 30 days.
